Easter Bonnets

Next week all the children in the school will be involved in Easter Paraliturgies.  The Year One to Year Six  students will dramatize scenes from the Easter  Story.  The Pre primary children will watch these each morning. On Friday afternoon we will have the Easter Egg Raffle draw.  Before this the Pres will parade with their Easter Bonnets.
We will make our Easter Bonnets on Thursday the 6th of April. We ask parents to send in a bag of goodies to make and decorate a bonnet with. Coloured paper, ribbon, lace, artificial flowers, glitter, gems, bunnies, chickens and eggs all look great on our bonnets.  Raid your craft boxes at home or The Reject Shop and Hooly Doolies have lots of bits and pieces that can be used. The children will need something to use as a hat  base.  An old hat from home, an ice cream container, a box, a headband.... Whatever you  can find.
Please put all your bits and pieces in a plastic bag, write your child's name on the bag and bring it to school on Monday next week.
We will also need about 4 mums or dads to help us on the morning between 9am and 11am.
Don't forget to put an Egg or a Bunny in the raffle collection box and importantly to fill in your tickets and put your money and the stubs in an envelope and return to the office.  There will be lots of chances for your little people to win a prize.
