Week 1. 2018. WELCOME to PPB

Dear Parents,
Welcome to PPB.  We are looking forward to a wonderful year ahead teaching your lovely children in partnership with you. 
There are always first day questions so listed below are some reminders to make day one as easy as possible for both the children and the parents. 
1. First day back is Wednesday the 31st of January. 
2. Gathering Time begins at 8.30am.  Please do not arrive earlier than this. All children should be at school no later than 8.45am.  
3. The children should wear Pre primary uniform.  Teal school issue polo shirt. Black shorts. Brown sandals or white running shoes with white socks. School Rugby top if cold. Coloured faction polo shirts are only to be worn on Fridays. All items of uniform, including shoes, must be clearly labelled with your child’s name. Hats will be kept at school in your child’s drawer.
4. All children should have a packed lunch.  Please pack a separate smaller box for their morning tea.  We encourage fruit for morning tea with the addition of crackers, cheese etc if required. In accordance with our sustainability plans we prefer Nude Food with as little packaging and plastic as possible.
Please note, if your child is not willing to eat the food you pack then it will be sent home so you can see just what is working for lunch boxes and what is not. 
If your child eats breakfast very early then we suggest that they have something to eat just before going to school. 
5. Your child must have a water bottle each day.  Water bottles are sent home at the end of the day to be washed and refreshed. At Gathering Time your child will need to put their water bottle on the water bottle table. Water only in the bottles please.  No cordial or juices.
6.  Please do not label the school stationary supplies that you have purchased.  All supplies go into the store room and are used on a share basis. Please bring this stationary pack to school on day one if it has not already been delivered to school.
7. Pick up time. Please be at the door at 3.00pm ready for 3.05pm dismissal.  There is a communications book on the parent information table.  If your child is being picked up by someone different then this must be recorded in the communications book.  Please also write down if your child is going to Pick Up Lane or is going to Day Care.
8. Our pres have a rest after lunch each day.  They will require a SMALL pillow.  The smaller the better as we have limited storage space in the classroom. 
9.  Please email in a family group photograph with all family members present (Mum, Dad, kids and pets!) before Monday the 29th of January. This can be sent to  .
10.   All other key organisation information will be passed on at the Parent Information Meeting in Week Two.

NB.  This year PPB will have a Fourth Year University Student completing an Internship with us.  The students name is Mrs Jo Nottle.  She will be with us for the first two weeks and then on Mondays and Tuesdays for the rest of semester one.  In Term 3 she will complete a full time prac.  Please make her feel welcome.
